Philippine operator PLDT is planning to borrow over US$50m of debt in Q3 this year, to finance its capex plans.
PLDT is planning to expand its mobile and broadband services and will likely tap private debt markets for around PHP2.5bn (US$54.5m) later this year.
The operator has capex plans of PHP28bn for 2010.
In February PLDT raised PHP7bn through a fixed-rate notes facility agreement with 13 financial institutions.
