German mobile operator Vodafone Deutschland has said is looking to outsource its network maintenance for at least five years, reports Dow Jones citing Rheinische Post.
Likely partners would include European equipment providers Ericsson, Alcatel-Lucent or Nokia Siemens Networks, according to the report.
Vodafone is reportedly seeking such a contract, which would entail the outsourcing some 630 maintenance staff and management, in order to help it cope with additional network capacity and new network standards.
