Australia’s leading telco Telstra has launched a NZ$100m (US$72.1m) bond issue.
The seven-year kauri bonds will be priced at mid-swaps plus175bp-180bp and will be set on May 6. They will pay a coupon of around 7.30%.

Australia’s leading telco Telstra has launched a NZ$100m (US$72.1m) bond issue.
The seven-year kauri bonds will be priced at mid-swaps plus175bp-180bp and will be set on May 6. They will pay a coupon of around 7.30%.
The proceeds from the deal will be used to repay short-term debt.
Telstra already has a further NZ$255m of outstanding kauri bonds, that mature within the next four years.
