German spectrum bids rising steadily

Bids in the German mobile spectrum auction have now reached a total of E1.32bn.
The process has now seen 72 bidding rounds take place, with Deutsche Telekom so far bidding highest with an offer of E196m each for two blocks of 10MHz blocks.

Bids in the German mobile spectrum auction have now reached a total of E1.32bn.

The process has now seen 72 bidding rounds take place, with Deutsche Telekom so far bidding highest with an offer of E196m each for two blocks of 10MHz blocks.

The auction is expected to raise up to E8bn and could continue for some weeks.
