France Telecom’s deputy international CEO Jean-Yves Larrouturou is leaving the company in the coming months.
Larrouturou will remain in charge of a number of issues affecting the French giant until his departure, including the ongoing negotiations between France Telecom and Orascom Telecom in Egypt.
A replacement for Larrouturou has not yet been found.
Last week, Switzerland’s telecoms regulator blocked the merger of France Telecom’s Swiss unit with TDC’s Swiss unit.
