Mexican operator America Movil has issued a bond on the Chilean market worth approximately US$200m.
The Huaso bond has a 4% yield, is denominated in UFs, has a 25 year maturity and was priced at 5 million UFs (inflation-indexed currency).
It remains unclear whether the Mexican telco will place more bonds on the local market, as it has in the past reported plans to raise up to US$312.8m in debt in the local markets.
