Chapter-11 hit Canadian vendor Nortel Networks is to sell its 53.13% stake in Nortel Netas.
Nortel Networks International Finance and Holding has reportedly agreed to sell its stake in Nortel Netas, a Turkish telecoms infrastructure provider, which is also known as Nortel Networks Netas Telekomunikasyon AS.
The buyer is believed to be a consortium of the Turkish VC firm Rhea Girisim Sermayesi Yatirim Ortakligi AS and One Equity Partners.
Nortel Networks filed for Chapter-11 bankruptcy protection in January 2009 and has since been selling off assets in a bid to raise funds for its creditors.
