ZTE Corporation’s board of directors has appointed Shi Lirong as president of the company.
Lirong replaces Yin Yimin, who stands down after a 6 year stint.
Shi Lirong, 46, served as an Executive Vice President of ZTE Corporation from 1999 to March 2010 and was responsible for managing the company’s sales and business development operations.
Prior to that Lirong held the post of VP at Zhongxingxin Telecommunications Equipment Company. He holds a Master’s degree in Telecommunication and Electronic System Engineering from Tsinghua University and a Master’s degree in Engineering, specialising in Telecommunications and Electronic Engineering, from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.
