UK cableco Virgin Media has announced plans to promote Jonathan Kini, currently the group’s director of mobile, to a senior role within its customer and operations division in February.
According to Virgin Media, the move is being made in recognition of Kini’s contribution to the growth and success of the group’s mobile service.
“It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Jonathan and I wish him every success in his new role,” said Graeme Oxby, executive director of Mobile and Home Phone.
“His strong experience and passion will be invaluable for the company as we strive to become the most customer-focused company in our sector.”
Kini’s replacement will be announced in due course, a statement from Virgin Media said.
