Vietnamese ICT conglomerate FPT, which part-owns FPT Telecom, has appointed Bui Quang Ngoc as its new CEO.
A co-founder of FPT and currently serving as vice chairman, Ngoc replaces Truong Dinh Anh, who resigned almost a year ago.
In the interim, Truong Gia Binh served as both chairman and CEO. The company said in a statement that the new appointment “aims to separate the roles of chairman of the board and CEO to comply with modern managerial standards and improve the company’s performance”.
Binh will stay in his role as chairman.
