Top Citigroup telecoms bankers Mark Simonian has resigned, and will reportedly be moving to Credit Suisse.
According to various reports, the bank’s global head of telecoms, will remain in New York. Having joined Salomon Smith Barney as European head of telecoms, he rose to become global co-head of TMT with Ben Druskin.
Simonian’s departure follow those of Bill Kennish, who announced he will leave his role as European head of TMT to move to Macquarie, and Hervé Malausséna, the MD and managing director and Head of EMEA telecoms leaving to head up the new telecoms team at investment bank Moelis & Company.
