Swedish incumbent TeliaSonera has launched commercial 4G services in Finland.
European vendor Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) is supplying the initial network in Helsinki, while Ericsson is supporting operations in Turku.
These companies are also assisting TeliaSonera’s LTE expansion in Sweden and Norway, but no long-term LTE partnerships have been secured for Finland, the company said.
