Norwegian operator Telenor announced the appointment of Jon Erik Haug as the new CEO of Telenor Denmark, succeeding Henrik Clausen, who becomes CEO of DiGi, Telenor’s Malaysian subsidiary.
Haug has held numerous positions within the Telenor Group, most recently as marketing director for Telenor Sweden.
Clausen has been CEO of Telenor’s Danish operations since Telenor’s 2005 acquisition of Cybercity, where he had been CEO since 2000. Clausen succeeds Johan Dennelind as CEO of DiGi. Dennelind leaves the group as of May 17. He first joined the company in 2004 and has headed up DiGi since early 2008.
