At the end of January 2013 dealmakers and top-level executives of operators will once again gather at the TelecomFinance conference in London.
The two-day event, to take place at the Hilton Tower Bridge Hotel on 30-31 January 2013, will cover all aspects of telecoms M&A, financing and regulation.
A variety of speakers representing operators, advisers and investors have already confirmed their attendance.
Opening the debate on the first conference day will be Liberty Global’s head of M&A, Andrea Salvato, in a joint panel with his counterpart at Telekom Austria, Roland Haidner, and Deutsche Bank’s head of telecoms EMEA, Philipp Meier-Scherling.
Other speakers at the event, which takes place in its eight’s year, include Etisalat’s chief strategy officer Daniel Ritz and Aldo Mareuse, co-CEO of Naguib Sawiris’ Accelero Capital – they will discuss partnerships as an alternative to full scale M&A.
The TF2013 conference will offer plenty of networking opportunities, including the TelecomFinance awards ceremony on the evening of the first day, where TelecomFinance will announce the winners of the 2012 league tables and the Deal of the Year awards for Middle East & Africa, for Asia, and for Europe.
Following a number of significant telecoms initial public offerings in 2012, TelecomFinance will also award the Global telecoms IPO of the Year, and the Cable & Telecoms IPO Bank of the Year.
