Swedish operator Tele2 has issued a two-and-a-half-year SEK750m (US$112.7m) bond in the local market.
Issued under the company’s EMTN programme, the issue carries a floating-rate coupon of three-month STIBOR plus 1.10%, according to a company statement.
The bond will be listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and the proceeds will be used for general corporate purposes.
SEB acted as lead manager for the transaction.
Tele2, which says it serves 38 million customers in 11 countries, established its EMTN programme on 13 October 2012.
The NASDAQ OMX Stockholm-listed company reported net sales of SEK10.9bn (US$1.64bn) for the third quarter, up 5% year-on-year. EBITDA was up 1% year-on-year to SEK3bn (US$450.7m), equal to an EBITDA margin of 28%. Net debt at the end of the quarter amounted to SEK15.99bn (US$2.4bn).
