Connectivity Business News, a leading news source in the satellite and connectivity space, this week announced a media partnership with Space & Satellite Professionals International for the Connectivity Next Summit 2023 taking place Nov. 13-14 in Atlanta.

Space & Satellite Professionals International (SSPI), headquartered in New York, is a non-profit organization comprised of professionals from the satellite industry, led by executive director Robert Bell.
Satellite communications is becoming more deeply integrated in the general connectivity market, having long existed apart from the rest of the telecom industry, Bell told CBN today.
“This is great for customers,” Bell said, adding that networks that use satellite communications can provide greater capacity at lower prices compared to purely terrestrial networks.
“That’s what SSPI’s involvement in the Connectivity Next 2023 summit is all about,” Bell said. “We want to help make satellite connectivity mainstream.”
SSPI has more than 3,800 professional members across more than 40 countries, according to its website.
In addition to partnering with CBN for the summit, several SSPI corporate members will be participating in the event, including:

- Tokyo-based in-orbit services company Astroscale;
- Melville, N.Y.-based Comtech Telecommunications (NASDAQ: CMTL);
- Englewood, Colo.-based network provider EchoStar Corp. (NASDAQ: SATS);
- Munich-based laser communications provider Mynaric (NASDAQ: MYNA);
- Falls Church, Va.-based defense contractor Northrop Grumman (NYSE: NOC); and
