The Society of Satellite Professionals International (SSPI) has elected new members for its board of directors and has appointed new officers to lead the organisation.
The new directors, elected for three years, are Mike Aloisi, vice president of technology, satellite & affiliate services at MTV Networks; Robert Bednarek, president and CEO of SES World Skies; Paul Cohen, executive director, satellite engineering, at FOX Networks; Dr. Nongluck Phinainitisart, president of Thaicom; and Tony Rayner, vice president, business development, at Eutelsat.
Two Directors were also re-elected: Andreas Georghiou, CEO of Spacenet; and Mark Quinn, senior vice president at Willis InSpace.
The board appointed Clayton Mowry, president of Arianespace, as its chairman, and Keith Buckley, president and CEO of ASC Signal Corporation as president.
