SK Telecom and China Mobile have performed several TD-LTE trials in South Korea, which have met the companies’ performance targets, according to reports.
In an email to TelecomFinance, SK Telecom confirmed that several tests have been performed with China Mobile, but was quick to point out that it has not finished preparing TD-LTE, as reported by some media.
The test cases, which are aimed at verifying the functionally and performance of TD-LTE services, reportedly started last July.
