Russia’s Rostelecom has arranged revolving credit facilities for a total of Rbs4.8bn (US$145.6m) with Raiffeisenbank and Citibank.
A spokesperson for the state-controlled telco said the two facilities amount to Rbs2.4bn (US$72.8m) each and have tenures of a maximum three months.
Pricing stands at 50 to 75 basis points over the Mosprime rate, the spokesperson added, depending upon their tenures.
Proceeds will be used to finance operational activities and fill short-term liquidity gaps.
Rostelecom is currently in the second phase of its government-decreed merger with state-controlled telecoms holding Svyazinvest.
