Richard Moat is stepping down as CFO of UK mobile operate Everything Everywhere as the company’s new CEO shakes up its management structure.
New EE CEO Olaf Swantee, who replaces Tom Alexander today, said the changes will help ensure a clear focus and accountability.
“The structure of the team is function oriented with clear accountability so we can accelerate the execution of our key plans and priorities,” said Swantee.
Reports had tipped Moat, who was also deputy CEO, to replace Alexander at the helm, but in July the company announced plans to bring in France Telecom’s head of European operations for the role.
EE VP of finance Neal Milsom has been promoted to replace Moat as CFO.
In total, six senior executives have left EE in the shake-up, but a raft of new additions will join an 11-strong management team.
