Russian telecoms regulator Roskomnadzor has received seven applications for the sale of GSM frequencies in the eastern part of country.
MegaFon, New Telephone Company, OSS Telecom, Rostelecom, VimpelCom as well as two of Tele2 Russia’s subsidiaries – Siberian Cellular Communications and Chelyabinsk Cellular Communications – have applied to participate in the tender.
The regulator is awarding GSM frequencies in Kamchatka, the Koryak District, Chukotka and the Sakhalin Island.
