Project finance advisory boutique Portland Advisers has expanded its team with the appointments of two new consultants, Christopher Green and Seb Bowden.
Green has over 13 years experience in project and export finance both in advisory and arranging roles in Asia Pacific.
He joins Portland from HSBC where he was most recently regional head of export finance, Asia Pacific, covering a wide range of sectors including satellite, telecoms, infrastructure and oil and gas.
Green was with HSBC for over nine years and before that was with Citigroup’s project and export finance business in both New York and Hong Kong. He has advised on or arranged over US$20bn in debt.
He will be based in Portland’s new office in Hong Kong.
Based in London, Bowden is a highly experienced technical financial adviser, specialising in financial modelling and analytics. He has over 15 years of experience in PFI/PPP, project finance, private equity and property gained at accountancy firm Grant Thornton and Quintain Estates & Developments.
Formed in 2008 by experienced project financiers Geoff Knox, Nick Flitterman and Frauke Bialokoz, Portland Advisers has advised on a number of export credit agency-backed financings in the telecoms and satellite sectors.
Earlier this year, Portland acted as debt adviser for submarine cableco operator Seaborn’s US$290m project financing.
