Fritz Joussen is stepping down as CEO of Vodafone Germany and will be replaced by Jens Schulte-Bockum, who has previously worked as the CEO of Vodafone Netherlands.
Schulte-Bockum will first join the Vodafone Germany executive committee as the new COO on 1 April. He will then take over from Joussen as CEO on 1 October.
Meanwhile, Dietlof Mare has been appointed as the new CEO of Vodafone Albania. He will replace Haris Broumidis, who will be moving to Vodafone Group’s headquarters in London in early April to work as the company’s commercial director for Europe.
Mare has previously served for four years as the CEO of mobile operator Vodacom Tanzania. Broumidis has been the CEO of Vodafone Albania since 2007.
