China Mobile has appointed a board of directors for its parent company China Mobile Communications Corp.

China Mobile chairman Wang Jianzhou will also be chairman of the board of the parent company as well as its secretary, following the departure of Zhang Chunjiang.

Li Yue has become president of China Mobile Communications.

The board and management team of China Mobile remains the same.
