New York-based Time Warner Cable has hired Arthur Minson as its CFO. He will join the company on 2 May and oversee all of Time Warner Cable’s finance functions including mergers and acquisitions.
He replaces Irene Esteves who is leaving the company after joining as its head of finance in 2011. No reason was given for her departure.
Minson rejoins Time Warner Cable after spending three years at the company between 2006 and 2009. In that stint he was appointed as senior VP of finance, and became executive VP and deputy CFO.
He left in 2009 to join AOL where he was COO and CFO, responsible for mergers and acquisitions. He has previously held positions at AMC Networks, Time Warner Inc and Ernst & Young.
CEO Glenn Britt said: “[Minson’s] deep knowledge of the cable industry, the broad experience he gained at AOL as CFO and COO, and his outstanding reputation in the financial community make him a great addition to our management team.”
