Mexican cableco Megacable has withdrawn its bid from the country’s dark fibre spectrum tender.
The tender is for the use, benefit and exploitation of radio spectrum in the 1710-1770MHz and 2110-2170MHz frequency bands. The Mexican cable firm stated that it has withdrawn its bid from the auction due to business and financial reasons, but that it will still look into MVNO possibilities, which would allow it to offer mobile services.
