Vivendi-owned telco SFR is reportedly set to present a revised management structure to union officials next week.
French newspaper Les Echos reported SFR chairman and chief executive Stephane Roussel has decided to reduce the size of the Paris-based mobile operator’s executive committee.
According to the paper, which referred to unnamed sources, deputy CEO and CFO Pierre Trotot will retain his posts, consumer operations head Frank Cadoret will also be named co-deputy CEO, and networks head Pierre-Alain Allemand will also take on responsibility for IT systems.
Head of innovation and content Jeremie Manigne and head of IT Eric Iooss will no longer be on the committee; however Manigne will also take on responsibility for customer relations, the store network and online sales.
The overhauled structure will also see former marketing director Patrick Asdaghi head a separate division for new brands and businesses, including the BuzzMobile prepaid and Home by SFR brands a new, soon-to-be-launched mobile service.
Former CFO Guillaume Boutin will take on the role of marketing director and report to Cadoret, the paper reported.
Vivendi announced in late August that Jean-Yves Charlier would head the group’s telecoms operations internationally, which also include GVT in Brazil and Marco Telecom in Morocco. The French media and telecoms group stated at the time that Roussel would remain chairman and CEO of SFR.
