Spanish triple play operator Jazztel has secured a E60m vendor financing deal that was agreed in November 2009.
BBVA (Hong Kong) and China CITIC Bank are lending the funds in conjunction with a deal signed with equipment vendor Huawei last year.
The proceeds of the loan will be used to increase network capacity and deploy new technologies courtesy of Huawei.
Jazztel has the option to take a series of leasing agreements of at least E10m each over the next two years, signed with BBVA Financia Espana, amounting to a maximum of E60m. Each leasing agreement will have a maturity of three years and will pay 200bp over Euribor.
