UK-based Founders Club, the venture capital equity exchange fund, has completed an angel investment round with personal investments from high-profile investors.
According to the club, investors include former Vodafone CTO Chris Burke and Edmund Truell, former chairman of the British Venture Capital Association.
The club enables shareholders of VC-backed companies to invest a small percentage of their personal equity upside into a fund in return for ownership in the fund and membership in the club.
Andrew Romans, founder and general partner of the Founders Club, said: “We made our funding round available to key members of the VC-backed technology community in the US and Europe and managed to close our round with small contributions from big players.
