Vodafone has created a new group enterprise unit and appointed Nick Jeffery to lead it.
The division incorporates the telco’s former enterprise unit and equivalent operations of Cable & Wireless Worldwide (CWW), the company which Vodafone acquired in the summer.
Jeffery headed Vodafone’s enterprise unit until the company made him CEO of CWW in July after the deal closed.
The integration of CWW’s enterprise business will begin in January, and the rest of CWW will also be merged into Vodafone at that point.
Vodafone expects the total cost of integration to be £500m by 2016, but that by that point the merger will result in cash flow synergies of £150m to £200m per annum.
Jeffery will report directly to group CEO Vittorio Colao.
