The Connectivity Business News editorial team is pleased to announce that Tobias Forsell, founder and managing director of digital divide satellite communications developer Forsway, will discuss innovations in antenna development at the Connectivity Next Summit 2023 on Monday, Nov. 13, at 1:45 p.m. (ET).
The Connectivity Next Summit 2023, with its focus on trends and opportunities in satellite and telecom connectivity, is the ideal event for satellite operators and connectivity industry leaders. It will take place on Nov. 13-14 at Loews Atlanta Hotel in Atlanta.
Forsell will discuss how optimizing antenna size, weight and power can provide effective performance at prices the unconnected world can afford, bringing the whole world online. The global south has a market of 3 to 4 billion people who have unsuitable connectivity, according to Forsway’s estimates.
“Forsway has developed unique technology and user equipment based on a benchmark hybrid model for tapping satellite broadband and existing terrestrial networks for service providers and operators to provide easy-to-deploy, and highly cost-effective internet connectivity to regions that experience no or insufficient connectivity,” Forsell said in a recent company press release.
Skovde, Sweden-based Forsway saw investment in March from Stockholm-based Rymdkapital, a venture capital firm for European space startups.
Connectivity Next is the only event to delve deeply and holistically into satellite connectivity’s future, with an aim to help satcom professionals identify better strategies for growth and profitability.
