Albanian mobile operator AMC has appointed Dimitris Blatsios as CEO, starting on December 6, its Greek owner OTE has announced.
Blatsios moves from Globul, Cosmote’s Bulgarian subsidiary, where he was Executive CCO since March 2009. Prior to that, he was at Germanos Telecom as Romania General Manager since October 2006 and as head of the International Retail Division. Prior to joining GERMANOS Group, he held top managerial positions in various multinational companies such as Henkel and Johnson & Johnson.
OTE Group Chairman & CEO Michael Tsamaz thanked outgoing AMC CEO Stefanos Oktapodas for his work over the past ten years.
