UK fixed line operator Alpha Telecom launched an MVNO yesterday on local mobile operator Vodafone’s network.
London-based Alpha already offers international call services through its fixed-line infrastructure, but the group is now looking to convert its reported 600,000 customers to its new MVNO.
As well as focussing on customers who make international calls, the MVNO will also target those who make calls to others in UK.
The new MVNO is using local mobile virtual network aggregator Cognatel.
