AeroMobile, the UK-based in-flight broadband JV between Arinc and Telenor, has promoted commercial director Adla Worobec to chief commercial officer.
Worobec succeeds Peter Tuggey, a founding member of AeroMobile’s management team, who joins international SOS firm MedAire as European MD.
“With more than 400 aircraft already in line to offer the AeroMobile service, helping airlines to market our services to passengers will be a key element of Adla’s role going forward,” said AeroMobile CEO Pål Bjørdal.
“We’re sad to be losing Peter to a role that represents a great career move for him, but he leaves on a high with our very best wishes. He’s played a key role in ensuring that 2010 has been our best year yet for customer wins with five major airlines. He’s helped take AeroMobile all the way from an innovative start-up to the mature market leader we are today.”
