The Swedish telecoms regulator launched the auction for licences in the 800MHz band yesterday.
The Post & Telecom Agency (PTS) said that six lots (2 x 5MHz) were available. One applicant could acquire a total of two licences.
The regulator estimates that the auction could take anywhere between two and ten days, but could take longer.
PTS is not providing details on the bids of individual participants during the auction. But they did say that yesterday four bidding rounds were completed and that the sum of the bids was SKr913m (US$145m).
