Spanish telco Telefonica has acquired the remaining 1.8% of the shares in its Argentine telco Telefonica de Argentina that it did not already own.
The acquisition was completed on January 25 through the Buenos Aires stock exchange and means the Spanish operator now controls 100% of the business. Following the share acquisition, Telefonica de Argentina’s shares have been delisted.
