State owned Indian operator BSNL is to expand its 3G network to cover 760 cities by the end of 2010.
BSNL, along with fellow government owned company MTNL, was awarded 3G spectrum in 2008, enabling it to get a head start on privately owned operators that are currently bidding for the spectrum that would allow them to offer high speed mobile internet.
BSNL currently provides 3G services in 434 Indian cities.
