Bin Salama, who will take charge on February 14, was Kuwait’s Minister of Communication, Electircity and Water during 2009.
In a brief statement Zain said: “The Board of Directors state their confidence in the professional capabilities of Mr Bin Salama in continuing the Company’s future direction and path in maximising shareholder value.”
