US telco Windstream announced on Friday that it is increasing the size of its revolving credit facility from US$750m to US$1.25bn.
The commitments on this revolver are due to expire in July 2013.
In a statement, Windstream said that the proceeds would be used for general corporate purposes, including “repayment of certain indebtedness”, although they did not give more specific details.
JP Morgan Chase is the administrative agent for the revolver.
Windstream announced last week that it had increased the amount of its senior notes that it was looking to acquire in a cash tender offer to US$1.1bn.
