Ossama Bessada, the CEO of Italian operator Wind Telecomunicazioni and an executive at its parent company Vimpelcom, is set to leave both Wind and Vimpelcom at the end of June.
In addition to his role at Wind, Bessada is also a group executive VP and head of the Europe and North America business unit at Vimpelcom.
In a statement, Vimpelcom said that Bessada was leaving in order to relocate to Canada. The Amsterdam-based telecoms group added that Bessada’s replacement will be revealed in due course.
