UK mobile operator Vodafone has announced a partnership with Cognatel, the local MVNO solutions provider, to give MVNOs easier access to its network through CRM solutions and flexible billing.
The new mobile virtual network aggregator (MVNA) offers MVNOs a pre-payment platform that aims to reduce the cost and time it takes for them to get on the market.
According to Cognatel, the MVNA eliminates the need for costly upfront investment in new technology, promising MVNOs an end-to-end, fully-hosted solution for accessing Vodafone’s network.
“Our partnership with Cognatel strengthens Vodafone’s MVNO portfolio and maintains our focus in an area which offers excellent opportunities for everyone involved,” said Tim Stone, director of business development and wholesale at Vodafone UK.
