The largest Brazilian mobile operator, Vivo, has announced that its CEO Roberto Oliveira de Lima will leave the company at the end of June.
Oliveira de Lima has led the company for the past six years.
In a statement, Vivo said that he had led the company as it consolidated its position in the Brazilian telecoms market.
Vivo is a subsidiary of the Spanish telco Telefonica, which acquired the 50% stake it did not already own from partner Portugal Telecom last summer. It has 60 million customers in the Brazilian market.
