Bulgarian telecoms incumbent Vivacom is up for sale, broadbandTVNews reports.
Dubai-based Oger Telecom is reportedly looking at buying the ailing operator, which underwent a restructuring of its debt pile after breaching agreements in June 2010.
Morgan Stanley is reportedly advising the company’s creditors.
Hong Kong-based businessman Richard Li took over Vivacom in March 2010 when he acquired AIG Investments, which was then renamed Pinebridge. AIG bought the telecoms incumbent in 2008 from Advent International.
Last May, Oger Telecom was reportedly seeking to take over a 25% stake and the management of Vivacom.
The parties were not immediately available for comments.
