Manu Talwar has left his chief officer (operations) position at Indian towerco Viom Networks, which he had joined in 2010.
The Indian telecom company did not say which company he is headed to, but local reports suggest he has taken up the CEO role at Nepal’s Smart Telecom.
The Nepalese mobile operator could not be reached for comment.
Following his departure, Viom has brought in Mayank Mittal as head of operations and maintenance. Mittal will report directly to Sudhir Prasad, Viom COO, who joined the company four months ago.
