Russian operator VimpelCom will meet investors early next week to test the market for a Eurobond issue, Reuters reports quoting a banking source.
Last week, the operator’s board approved the acquisition of Wind Telecom, the vehicle of Egyptian businessman Naguib Sawiris which owns Italy’s operator Wind and Orascom Telecom.
BNP Paribas, Barclays Capital, Citi and RBS are reportedly leading the issue.
