US telecoms giant Verizon Communications has named Scott Krohn as its new treasurer.
Krohn, who joins Verizon from conglomerate 3M Company, succeeds Matt Ellis, who is now CFO for wireless and wireline operations.
At 3M, Krohn was vice president – tax and treasurer. For the past three years, his areas of focus included capital structure strategy and execution, pension asset management, financial risk management, tax planning and governance.
Before this, he spent almost 15 years with Ford Motor Company, most recently in financial leadership roles focused on strategy and debt capital markets.
At Verizon, Krohn will report to CFO Fran Shammo and be based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey.
