UPC Broadband, the cable TV operator and Liberty Global subsidiary, has extended the maturity of a portion of its term loan S from 2016 to 2019.
Liberty did not reveal the final amount that had been extended. IFR reported that the term loan S was €1.7bn.
UPC Broadband also provides broadband internet and voice services.
Separately, lenders have now agreed to provide a new €175m loan to Telenet, the Belgian cable operator and another Liberty Global subsidiary. The floating rate loan comes under Telenet’s credit facility and matures in 2018.
