Colombian state-owned telecoms operator UNE EPM Telecomunicaciones has signed a 10-year loan of up to CPs400bn (US$223m) with five banks.

Colombian state-owned telecoms operator UNE EPM Telecomunicaciones has signed a 10-year loan of up to CPs400bn (US$223m) with five banks.
The proceeds of the loan will be used for expansion and to support the telco’s business plan.
The loan carries interest of DTF (the main benchmark in Colombia) plus 3.9%.
UNE has a AAA rating from BRC Investor Services, an independent credit rating agency based in Bogota, according to a statement from the telco.
BBVA, Banco de Santander, Bancolombia, Banco de Bogota and Banco Popular are providing the loan.
