The board of Colombian state-owned telecoms operator UNE EPM Telecomunicaciones has agreed for the company to seek up to CPs400bn (US$226m) in long-term financing.
In a statement, UNE EPM said that it would seek the funding in order to finance its business plan and to refinance existing debt.
The board also allowed the company to set up a bridge facility, if required, while longer-term financing is organised.
