United Launch Alliance has secured a US$400m three-year senior unsecured revolving credit facility from U.S. Bank (lead), BNP Paribas and Wells Fargo.
The launch provider stated that the credit facility, which is thought to pay around 200bp over Libor subject to a step-up, would be used for general corporate purposes.
Bob Lange, ULA treasurer, said: “We are very pleased with the results of this syndication and want to thank our lenders for all their hard work. This new revolving credit agreement provides us with the financial flexibility to continue to service our customers, while also positioning us to capitalize on changing trends in our industry.”
ULA recently completed the launch of COSMO-SkyMed 4, the fourth Italian-built satellite that is part of the Italian Space Agency and Italian Ministry of Defence’s Constellation of small satellites for the Mediterranean basin observation. ULA launched the previous three COSMO satellites between 2007 and 2008.
The launch marked the 350th launch of a Delta rocket from US soil, the first of which took place back in May 1960.
